- Born in Mysore, India educated in Engineering like most Indian kids, would have preferred to be something else, but had no opportunity to figure that out till very late. One of the best things ever that happened to me was come in contact with Prof. Mysore V Ramarathnam. I was truly fortunate that, I got to know Prof. Ramarathnam and was fortunate enough to spend nearly 20 yrs. I was also fortunate that he lived with us for a good 10+ years. What I gained from him, was invaluable. He taught me, what good carnatic music is, and how great carnatic music sounds like. I have been a big fan of his works and contribution, as well as countless other artists that you will see and read about in this blog.
